Objectives : The “Embedded Electronics and Communication Systems” (EESC) course offers training that integrates all aspects of embedded electronics, from sensor to processing: antennas, microwave circuits, radio communications, programmable components, embedded computing, processing of the signal. The training is based on fundamental courses provided by a team of academics and industrialists. These courses are followed by practical work in the form of simulations (examples: propagation in matter, adaptive filtering, Linux system and network management, etc.) or experimental work (examples: use of network analyzers, antenna measurements, modulation/demodulation studies, etc.). Projects and case studies allow you to deepen these skills on complex problems.
Public concerned : Students
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : Selection on file for access to Master 1.
Access to the third semester is possible after selection on records and interviews.
Prerequisites : This training is open to:
- Holders of a bachelor of science degree in dominant electronic for access to Master 1
- Holders of a Master 1 Scientific mainly for electronic for access to Master 2
Acquired skills during the training : The EESC course falls under the electronic discipline. It prepares graduates to:
? Model using the finite element method of electromagnetic phenomena
? Simulate and characterize antennas
? Know, size, adapt and measure microwave circuits
? Master fundamental knowledge in analog and digital electronics
? Program for embedded systems
? Master signal processing techniques and their applications to digital communications and radar processing chains
? Know radiocommunication systems, from 2G to 4G
? Develop real-time systems
Targeted careers : The activities targeted by the Master GI EESC relate to electronic design engineering (low frequency and microwave) for embedded systems and radiocommunications. Graduates are prepared to carry out activities and/or hold responsibilities within the design or R&D office to:
? Model/simulate to design, optimize and realize;
? Design and calculate systems;
? Carry out tests and measurements.
Graduates will also be able to occupy production support functions in the targeted industrial sectors, such as business managers.
The Master prepares for immediate employability. It covers industries such as the aerospace, automotive, aerospace, ..
Duration and terms : 4 semesters
