BUT Mesures Physiques (MP)

Course Details

Objectives : The BUT MP trains for professions in metrology and instrumentation in industry, control laboratories, and research. Scientific skills provide access to professions in quality assurance, industrial control, and laboratory analysis. Further studies in industrial science and technology are also possible.

The different paths:
TI: INSTRUMENTATION TECHNIQUES
Manage quality in companies and industrial instrumentation, obtain ISO certifications, and ensure quality assurance, equipment qualification, and calibration.

MCPC: PHYSICO-CHEMICAL MATERIALS AND CONTROLS
Study the properties of materials, their manufacturing or processing methods, and analysis techniques for structural and elementary characterizations.

Work with steels, metal alloys, composite materials and polymers.

MAE: ENVIRONMENTAL MEASUREMENTS AND ANALYSES
Specialize in energy measurements related to electricity in production, distribution, photovoltaic, wind, inverter, heat pump, COP.
Deepen instrumentation and characterization techniques for environmental pollution, including acoustics, chemistry, biology and particles.
