Objectives : The sensor is the essential organ on which the entire performance of a perception system is based. This training module aims to develop or complete the technical and scientific bases allowing the reasoned design of non-contact measurement sensors.
This training aims to provide powerful tools to improve and accelerate the design of a magnetic sensor, based either on the measurement of flux (inductive, fluxgate) or field (Hall effect, magnetoresistive). At the end of this training, participants will be able to implement a rigorous, systematic and efficient method to design a specific sensor or to extend the operating zones of an existing sensor.
The approach taught is an asset that can be reinvested in the design of any type of physical device.
Public concerned : Engineers and technicians in charge of developing non-contact measurement sensors.
Engineers and technicians in charge of guiding their customers in the choice and use of non-contact measurement sensors.
Prerequisites : Knowledge of mathematical tools: derivation, gradient operator, integration, multiple integrals.
Notions of physics: magnetostatics, Maxwell-Ampère equation.
Duration and terms : 21 h
