Objectives : The increase in communication needs in terms of number and flow, as well as technological developments (transistor transition frequency reaching 500 GHz), now require all electronics engineers to consider wave propagation phenomena.
The aim of this training is to provide tools for the design and characterization of microwave electronic circuits. At the end of this training, participants will be able to model an HF problem using a circuit approach, characterize and measure linear circuits, and argue the parameters of an impedance matching circuit between chained elements.
Public concerned : Engineers and technicians in charge of developing electronic systems.
Engineers and technicians in charge of validating electronic systems.
Prerequisites : Good knowledge of electrical circuits and complex notation.
Duration and terms : 21 h
