Objectives : IPSA aims to train bold, creative and innovative engineers who are able to adapt to the technological developments of tomorrow's industry.
While students can easily integrate into other sectors and other professions, IPSA has chosen to remain anchored in training focused exclusively on aeronautics and space. It is therefore able to offer a wide range of majors that meet the specific needs of manufacturers, in France and abroad.
Public concerned : Students from high School to Master's degree.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : Pass the Advance competition for final year students. Parallel admission for others.
Prerequisites : The choice of specializations is crucial to best prepare your project to continue your studies in higher education. Thus, integrating an engineering school such as IPSA requires having a minimum base of scientific knowledge, particularly in mathematics and physics.
In the first year, we recommend at least two scientific specializations (Mathematics and Physics) if you wish to move towards our school, then keep them in the final year.
You will have the choice of a 3rd specialization. The majors in digital and computer science or engineering science may prove judicious.
We also advise you in the final year to take the expert mathematics option if possible, which without being compulsory, will increase your chances of success.
Acquired skills during the training : Strong scientific and aeronautical skills
A contribution in human sciences and leadership to prepare for positions of responsibility
Projects to learn to collaborate with diverse profiles on increasingly complex subjects
Varied experiences to develop one's personality, open up to the world and reveal one's talents.
Targeted careers : IPSA students, upon completion of their training as aeronautical and space engineers, will have the opportunity to join a company in the aerospace sector and occupy specific positions (aeronautical maintenance engineer, space mechanical engineer, propulsion engineer, satellite integration engineer) or to embark on a career as an engineer in related sectors (automotive, rail, maritime, energy, etc.).
Duration and terms : 5 years
Partnerships with national organisations : Paris Saclay University, CentraleSupélec, ISG
International partnerships : Cranfield University, Laval University, etc
