Course Details
Objectives : In three days of training, CNES experts will introduce you to space instruments and the data produced. This training is intended for people of all profiles wishing to master the basic notions of spatial data, from their acquisition to their use:
The different types of data and their use:
- The specificities of spatial data
- Earth observation: imaging, sounding, radar, altimetry
- Sciences of the Universe: distant observation
- Exploration and manned flights
- Navigation (GNSS)
- IT infrastructures and data catalogs
- Policy and data valorization
- The data economy, licenses
- Practical work will be offered to choose from: Earth observation or navigation
And the processing chain:
Instruments and their performances, treatments, product levels and their quality, fusions/hybridizations.
