Objectives : The BUT Physical Measurements trains versatile and highly qualified senior technicians who prepare, carry out and use measurements. They have the knowledge and skills to design and implement a test, trial or control protocol whether for industrial applications (automobile, aeronautics, space, electronics, optics, materials, chemistry, pharmacy, energy, agri-food, biomedical, environment, etc.), analysis laboratories, design offices or research and development services. Fully integrated into their working group, they then know how to analyze these measurements and then communicate the results orally and in writing. Versatility and adaptability are the main assets of graduates in Physical Measurements. They quickly adopt technological innovations, both in the professional environment and during immediate or lifelong pursuit of studies. This allows them to achieve successful career development.
Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : Equal importance is given to:
- basic multidisciplinary scientific education allowing the acquisition of well-assimilated fundamental knowledge;
- applied teaching, strongly anchored in professional practice, providing solid know-how;
- progressive training in autonomy, taking responsibility and teamwork leading to the development of interpersonal skills.
This base of knowledge and know-how makes it possible to quickly adapt to the most diverse functions and to acquire, at any time, mastery of new technologies as well as additional training.
