Objectives : The Mechanical and Production Engineering [GMP] department of IUT Lyon 1 is aimed at students interested in engineering sciences, mechanics in the broad sense, robotics, new technologies, IT, development sustainable ...

Training of senior technicians, middle managers and assistant engineers capable of working throughout the life cycle of an industrial product in various sectors of activity (Aeronautics, Automotive, Sport and Leisure, medical, etc.).

Three main areas of business are mainly targeted: design, industrialization and industrial organization through the BUT GMP and its different paths.
