Objectives : The strengths of this Master 2 are the coupling between mechanics and physics, and the balance between experimental, numerical and theoretical approaches. The objective is to train students in the most advanced research subjects in the field of complex fluids and divided media, turbulence, aerodynamics and flow control, magnetohydrodynamics. Particular emphasis is placed on the mastery of digital tools (in particular CFD software, Computational Fluid Dynamics, for fluid mechanics and heat transfer) and modern diagnostic tools used in fluid mechanics, highly sought after in the departments of R&D of large companies.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Targeted careers : The majority of industrial opportunities concern fluid/thermal CFD jobs in the R&D departments of large groups. The companies that have particularly recruited in recent years are: Alten, Altran, Framatome / Areva, EDF, IFP, MBDA, Naval Group, Stellantis / PSA, Safran, Segula, Som-Ortec, Sopra-Steria, Thales
