Objectives : The Master PFA offers intensive training in research and innovation in physics, with two specialties: condensed matter physics and radiation (MR) and space environment physics (SSA). This training provides students with the skills but also a great ability to adapt which are essential today to meet the constantly changing scientific and industrial challenges. After a first year in common core, the master prepares for an insertion either directly in the industrial world, or in a research laboratory to prepare a doctoral thesis.
specialty: SSA (Space Sciences and Applications)
This course, entirely in English and with international recruitment, offers high-level training in the physics of the space environment. It addresses current issues in radio astronomy (with the Nançay radio astronomy station), new engines for space propulsion, exploration of the solar system, project management through the concrete involvement of students in projects on nanosatellites, etc.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements : Physics degree or equivalent. 2nd year open to engineering students in their final year.
Targeted careers : sectors: Materials for energy, nanotechnology, biomaterials-cosmetics, metrology, instrumentation, satellite data analysis, space sciences, nanosatellite projects, etc.
Researcher, teacher-researcher or engineer in research/development/innovation, responsible for scientific missions, consultant, scientific journalist, etc.
