Objectives : The Master in Fundamental Physics and Applications of the University of Montpellier offers a very diversified training which covers different areas of Physics ranging from astrophysics to nanomaterials through the physics of soft matter or biomedical. Training in the emerging fields of the physics-chemistry interface, physics-biology, physics-medicine and physics-computing is offered.
This M2 course of the Master in Fundamental Physics and Applications of the University of Montpellier is accessible to students who have followed an M1 of the CCP course of the Master or to students who have followed equivalent training in another French or foreign university.
In M2, UEs from the CCP course are completed, by other UEs in Montpellier and by UEs offered by the University of Lyon. Students will follow the local UEs with CCP students, and those from Lyon by videoconference, except for those who require a presence in the field, where they will meet their counterparts from the other university and CCP.

Admission requirements : The Master of Physics is accessible to all students holding a Bachelor of Science and Technology.
Acquired skills during the training : By the end of the Master, students will have acquired theoretical and practical skills in the field of astrophysics, preparing mainly for a doctoral pursuit. It is also possible to integrate the business world at the bac + 5 level.
