Objectives : The Big Data phenomenon has given rise to the new profession of Data Science Specialist or Data Scientist, at the interface between computer methods and artificial intelligence tools, complex systems, and the needs of end users consuming these masses of data. The objective of the Master SDSC is to meet the growing demand for such specialists, capable of developing and implementing methods of analysis of massive data and modeling of complex systems. The training is based on the skills of the research teams of the ICube laboratory, Laboratory of Engineering Sciences, Computer Science and Imaging.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : In addition to the general skills of computer engineers, there is expertise in the field of big data: analysis of complex data models; deployment of big data architectures for the exploitation of massive, distributed and heterogeneous data; modeling of complex and industrial systems; implementation of machine learning, knowledge extraction and artificial intelligence methodologies; development of tools for decision support; optimization of inverse problems by the use of massively parallel stochastic algorithms; data protection and enhancement.
Targeted careers :
Data scientist, data miner, expert engineer in artificial intelligence (machine learning, “deep learning”).
Designer of decision-making systems (data warehouses, business intelligence).
Administrator of “big data” architectures, specialist in management and protection of massive and distributed data.
