Master Informatique - plusieurs parcours

Course Details

Objectives : The master's degree in Computer Science offers high-level scientific and technical education. The training focuses on discerning, among technological innovations, those which are the most promising in order to prepare students and enable them to adapt to the rapid evolution of information and communication technologies.

Computer science is a scientific discipline with an increasingly significant societal impact and an integral part of any scientific profession.

The various issues concerning the region's competitiveness clusters are addressed ("Aerospace Valley" focused on Aeronautics, Space and Embedded Systems, "Cancer Bio Santé" focused on the medical field, "Agrimip Innovation" focused on agriculture and agro-industry).

This master's degree offers 8 courses, 6 of which are of particular interest to aerospace:
- Artificial Intelligence: Foundations and Applications (IAFA)
- Human Machine Interaction (HMI)
- Software Sciences (SDL)
- Embedded and Connected Systems: Infrastructure and Software (SECIL)
- Interactions of Computer Science and Mathematics for Artificial Intelligence (IMA): common with the Mathematics and applications mention
- Operational Research and Optimization (OR): common with the Mathematics and Applications major
- Data Sciences and Engineering (SID): common with the Mathematics and Applications major
- Computer Science for Aerospace (CSA) (the subject of a fact sheet)

Most of the courses and teaching units are certified by the ANITI institute (Artificial and Natural Intelligence Toulouse Institute).

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites : license

Acquired skills during the training : - Identify and implement a machine learning approach for a data analysis problem
- Relate a category of problems with the appropriate resolution algorithms and evaluate their relevance
- Master the principles of compilation and optimization in order to design and create a translator/compiler integrating constraints to optimize the generated code
- Identify a problem that can be parallelized, choose the appropriate calculation model and implement it to solve it
- Evaluate and master the complexity of software development in relation to a scientific and technical field of application
- Analyze a scientific research document and extract relevant information regarding a problem to be solved
- Understand at least one foreign language and express yourself easily orally and written in this particular language in a professional context
- Manage a small team, understand an accounting balance sheet and carry out a business creation process
- Take societal values into account in your work: knowledge of social relations, environment and sustainable development, ethics
