Course Details

Objectives : The "Automation, Robotics" master's degree aims to train specialists in the design of complex robotic systems and/or intelligent systems with the capabilities of perception, learning, decision-making and action in interaction with the environment. The training places particular emphasis on the modeling, simulation, analysis and control aspects of these systems, while integrating the multidisciplinary aspect specific to robotic, mechatronic and intelligent systems such as visual and sound perception, reflex control, artificial intelligence, or interaction with the environment or humans.
The major offers two courses, Advanced and Robotic Systems (SAR), in agreement with the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), and Intelligent Systems (SI).

The "Automation and Robotics" major offers four standard programs:
- Intelligent Systems (IS)
- Robotics (ROBOT), in partnership with the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM)
- Mechatronic Design for Healthcare Applications (MeDH), in partnership with the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM)
- Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Systems (MARS), an international program

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Targeted careers : The training opens to careers as engineers or research engineers in companies on a regional, national and international scale in the fields concerned with robotic, mechanical or mechatronic systems, interactive systems, embedded systems and intelligent systems, to careers as researchers or researcher and teacher-researcher by pursuing a doctorate. The main outlets concern the following sectors:

Automotive industry, transport, aeronautics, electronics, manufacturing, manufacturing robotics, telecommunications and multimedia
Service robotics, home automation
Maintenance sector
Health technology sector
Public or private research laboratories and higher education.
