Objectives : The first semester of the master's degree is common to all Mechanical Engineering courses. On the one hand, it constitutes a base of skills in the different professions of production, design and calculation of structures and on the other hand it helps with orientation in the different courses offered. This constitutes true multidisciplinarity within the mechanical engineering professions and can facilitate subsequent retraining.
The Productivity courses have specific Teaching Units from the first year of the master's degree.
The knowledge :
Production management.
Office methods
Optimization in manufacturing.
Tool design.
Mathematical models in machining.
Digital channel.
Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing.
Metrology.
Lean Manufacturing.
Quality.
Process Monitoring.
Continuous improvement.
Public concerned : Students
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : • Optimize the use of labor and equipment to organize production.
• Develop a production and/or assembly line organization.
• Study new investments or modifications to production equipment.
• Manage production using production management software (CAPM).
• Implement performance indicators to optimize productivity.
• Implement quality certification.
• Analyze mechanical or production systems to formulate improvement solutions.
• Choose, design and/or justify a mechanical or production system meeting the specifications.
• Monitor the achievement of objectives and produce reports and dashboards which reflect its activity.
• Integrate into an organization, lead it and help it evolve: commitment and leadership, project management, interpersonal relationships.
• Research, analyze and synthesize information (technology monitoring) and know how to exploit it by developing an argument with critical thinking.
Targeted careers : The training is clearly oriented towards the aeronautics and space sector but also makes it possible to respond to other industrial sectors (transport, naval, automobile, etc.).
The prospects for professional integration in the aeronautics sector are excellent. Integration surveys show full employment in less than 3 months.
Professions:
Supply chain engineer.
Methods engineer.
Production engineer.
Continuous improvement engineer.
